What kind of Qualifications could help my Business?
There is a huge amount of legislation that business must adhere to now, and for many business owners and managers it becomes a minefield that many don’t even know where to begin unravelling.
Business qualifications today allow your workers to become familiar with a huge range of business activities, and being able to choose elective units allows you to gain competence across a large range of important business activities.
Some of the names of qualifications that may be applicable are:
Certificate IV in Business Administration
Certificate IV in Small Business Management
Certificate IV in Frontline Management
Certificate IV in Human Resources
Certificate IV in Customer Contact
Certificate IV in Business Sales
Certificate IV in Recordkeeping
We actually have the ability to train in nearly 100 different certificates, so don't hesitate to contact us if you have a need that we may be able to fill!
One of the exciting things about these qualifications is that it is quite possible that your staff may already have a high skill level in the units in the qualification and can have their skills recognised towards their qualification. You don’t have to learn something you already understand. There is a process called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) that can be used to demonstrate competence and this could mean gaining a qualification for your work experience.
Each qualification is made up of units.
Each qualification will have a number of units, and out of those units some will be Core Units, meaning you must complete them, and the remainder will be elective units, meaning you can choose the units you want in your qualification.
To assist you in thinking about what skills your staff have, or what skills would be of benefit to your business, the list of units below is not exhaustive, but is a good start.
